Cleansing Balm
This thick buttery texture cleansing balm is so gentle on my skin. It easily removes all the makeup and dirt from my face in one go. It is fragrance free and doesn't irritate my eyes. Formulated with jojoba oil which leaves your skin hydrated and silky smooth. It is ideal for removing makeup, SPF, dirt and impurities from your skin and is suitable for all skin types. To be very frank, it doesn't rinse off immediately, it takes 2-3 washes. But it truely dissolves all traces of makeup, even around the eye area. My face felt very soft and nourished after using it. Even i didn't apply any moisturizer after it.

Mecca Melt Down
The Mecca Max Melt Down makeup remover cleansing balm was nice to use. A twenty cent sized amount was enough to remove a whole glam look including eyelashes. It did a great job at removing the high coverage foundation, bronzer, blush, eyeshadow, water proof mascara and even eyeliner. The only thing was that I felt like it was not able to meltdown the eyelash adhesive glue that I use. I also felt as though it left an oily residue on my face, which required two facial cleansing rounds to follow. This happened when using cold or hot water to remove it. The size of the tube won't last very long if you are someone that has a full face of makeup everyday, which then can become expensive since it's price point is $28. I have used other balms which are cheaper and work just as well if not better. Overall it does the job it is supposed to do.

Great cleanser
I love this cleansing balm. It easily removes my makeup at the end of the day, and cleanses my skin. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight at all, but soft and clean. It has no strong scent which I like, and is a great size!

Mecca Melt
This was a different product to anything I've tried before it was good to try this a different regime. Left my skin feeling very oily in a good way so hydrated removed makeup with ease used with make up pads to remove. Quite pleased.

Remove makeup with ease

Moisturising and Effective!
This is great- it left my skin feeling soft and hydrated after using and was super effective in removing even my most stubborn waterproof mascara! I could see the makeup coming off in seconds with no hard scrubbing needed!

Oily residue
I was interested in trying a balm cleanser as I hadn't tried one before. It was easy to apply and did feel like it removed make up, however it did leave an oily/greasy feeling on my skin. This didn't feel right to me so ended up using another product to remove this one from my skin.

Amazing!
For years I’ve searched for a product to take my makeup off in as little steps as possible without having to use abrasive products, excessive wipes, or scrub my skin. I was blown away the first time I used this. Melt down is right. It completely dissolved and melted the full coverage, matte foundation on my face as well as contour, concealer, blush and eyeshadow. What shocked me the most was how easily it removed my eyebrow gel and waterproof mascara. I’m obsessed with it and as a busy mum it’s the best thing I’ve found to quickly, easily, and effectively remove all of my makeup.

Amazing Product
This is such an amazing cleansing balm. In the winter months it is refreshing and feels moisturising. I love using this of a night time as it's leaves a nice barrier that locks in the moisture.

Glides like butter
Mecca Max melt down makeup removing cleansing balm does just that melts off my makeup and sunscreen I wore for the day. The texture is so silky smooth and I love that it’s no mess. I definitely had to double cleanse using a gel cleanser that foamed up as it left an oily feeling to my skin I didn’t mind double cleansing as that’s something I do everyday anyway. To conclude I would purchase again as it is a joy to use.

This isn’t a product I’d be likely to buy. It 100% does a great job at removing makeup. But I personally didn’t like the smell of the product.

Product works really well. all Makeup was removed and skin felt cleaner. However as recommended on the product to use a follow up product. A tiny sample to go with to get the full effect would have helped see the final results.
