Smooth and Illuminating
Smooths out my face and gives it a great shine before applying makeup. I love using this as my makeup base, it feels smooth and provides my skin with moisture. It has a good amount of product with an easy to use push top.

Better than flawless filter
This is the best glowy primer I’ve ever tried! It doesn’t make my foundation pill and lasts all day. It’s glowy without being glittery and doesn’t make me break out like flawless filter. I’ve been wearing it as my base and then just adding a bit of concealer on top and it leaves the most natural finish.

A Cruelty Free Treat
I had not tried a Mecca branded primer before and this was an absolute win. It has a nice texture and applied beautifully to the skin. It did not cause other skincare or makeup products to pill and worked in harmony with my foundation to create a radiant finish. It adds a glowy sheen to the skin and I quite enjoyed using this on a 'no makeup' makeup day without other face products to enhance skin for a natural and dewy look. It reminds me of some other high end illuminating primers I have used, but at a fraction of the price. Looking forward to adding this to my routine.

The best item of 2024
I am so impressed with this primer. I have a normal to oily skin type and this primer has been so effective in keeping the shine to a minimum. I love that it can be used to layer and doesn't mix or make patches with my foundation. A must buy for those with normal to oily skin.

A solid primer
This primer has a beautiful, silky feel when applying. It's not super tacky like I usually go for, but not a silicone/putty feel either, it's somewhere in the middle! The product has a subtle glow/sheen to it and the packaging is super cute. Wear wise, I applied this under foundation, not mixed in. I've done this a handful of times now for thorough testing. While I do feel it moisturised my face, I didn't get a super 'locked in' foundation feel - but this may be the foundation (it's a medium coverage Lancome foundation). I was able to move my products (foundation, cream contour/blush) around on top of it nicely without any caking or sliding. I didn't see an overly glowy finish, but it was not matte or oily either. The price is good for the product size/quality and one pump is enough for the whole face. I would recommend this product!

Amazing
Incredible product. Working from home i find that zoom meetings are like department store mirrors, doesn't show off my best sides. With Mecca Max primer it provides a great base to my make-up so I look fresh and relaxed. 10 stars if I could.

Glowing finish
This primer was a nice surprise. It reminds me of a better version of the napoleon primer. It glides on nicely even using your fingers and leaves a nice glowing finish, which can be enough just on its own for a nice everyday look.

Illuminating and glowy
Great product. Leaves skin feeling vibrant and glowy. Definitely gets the job done. Love how it’s not too wet. Only downside is phenoxyethanol as an ingredient. I prefer cleaner and non toxic ingredients.

Good for everyday use

Glowy Skin Prep
I have enjoyed adding this primer to my make up routine, with it helping to create a lovely, glowy base. I have not found it to do too much for skin texture or make up wear, but the hint of glow it provides is a lovely touch to an overall look.

Feeling the Glow
Mecca Max, ‘Bring on the Bright’, illuminating primer was easy to use and I felt gave me more of a glow. I chose to put in on under my foundation using my fingers. I felt it left my makeup less cakey throughout the day and gave my skin more of a youthful glow. I liked the pump-like tube and the one can see how luminous the primer is when it’s squeezed out of the tube.

Shine bright like a diamond
I absolutely loved this Mecca primer it was perfect base to elevate my everyday makeup routine to that next level. It was so easy to apply and the colour really complimented my natural skin tone. I was initially worried I could glisten like Edward Cullen the Vampire but my fears were soon put to rest! Definitively adding this to my makeup bag permanently!
