Mecca Cosmetica Restoring Retinol Serum

Amazing texture, unlike some retinol products that leaves my skin dry and flakey after use. This Mecca retinol serum is not harsh on my skin! I’m having oily skin with breakouts, this serum actually helps to control the oil production, I can see my pores are smaller and acne scars are fading. Love it!

The cream came in a lovely pink pump bottle, easy to dispense the right amount needed. The consistency is quite nice, it goes on easy and absorbs quickly. Doesn’t feel like it’s sitting on your skin. The serum does have a bit of a odd smell to it, only noticeable when applying then it’s gone. Overall I have been happy with texture and plumpness of my skin. It is a low dose formula so would be suitable for those with sensitive skin. I have tried stronger ones before and have had reactions even when used correctly. I didn’t have any side effects from this one at all. I recommend if you are just starting out.

This is a beautiful product that glides onto the skin with ease and absorbs perfectly. It's not greasy and a little goes a long way. The difference in the dark circles and pigmentation was noticeable after 4 weeks of constant use so it definitely works. My only issue with this product is that while it's light weight it unfortunately caused millia to form under my eyes and the top of my cheek bones. I would buy again but avoid applying in those areas.

I have been using this product consistency (with sunscreen) 2-3 days a week for 4 weeks, with the intention to eventually use daily. My skin can be quite sensitive and I have had no issues with using this serum. Even after only 4 weeks of use, I feel like my skin is glowing.1-2 pumps is all you need for the whole face so I am going to get so much use out of this product. It also feels very light on the skin. Highly recommend!

I have been using the Mecca Cosmetica Restoring Retinol serum for about 4 weeks along with the rest of my usual skincare items (a daily moisturiser with SPF 15 and a night hydrating gel). The serum has a very nice texture; easy to apply and light so you don’t need much to cover your face. It absorbs well so it’s easy to use under another moisturiser. My skin feels smooth, hydrated and looks more glowing, but I have not noticed a change in my fine lines, at least not yet . The serum bottle and color looks really lovely and luxurious. I love the pump system. So overall very nice except the fact that I don’t enjoy the smell of it.

I was really impressed with the MECCA Cosmetica Restoring Retinol Serum. I have been using this serum for over 4 weeks and I can say that I have definitely seen an improvement in the overall appearance of my skin. My skin looks and feels brighter and smoother and my pores seem smaller too. I don’t notice as much oiliness either which is fantastic. I used the serum every second night and did not experience any sensitivities. I am really happy with this serum and will happily continue using.

This product is great for people who are just starting out using retinol or have mild pigmentation. With consistent use over a few weeks you can really see a difference, with improved skin texture & reduced pigmentation. It’s really important to know that when using any form of retinol, that you apply sunscreen daily, or else using this kind of product renders it useless.

I am impressed with this product! I have a combination and acne-prone skin, and it is quite hard for me to find a product that would work good on my skin. This serum has definitely improved my skin. It reduced my acne and the amount of oil my skin produces, it lightened up my skin tone, made it look fresher. I would not consider my skin sensitive, however, it can get badly irritated or dry if a product does not fit me. While using this serum I did not have any negative reactions to it. I also find it important to mention about the texture and the ease of use of the product. The texture is very light and it gets absorbed extremely quick, — within 10 seconds, and leaves matte finish on your skin. The dispenser gives you the right amount of serum to use. I highly recommend this product! But be cautious and follow the instructions when using retinol, protect your skin from the sun and the heat while being treated.

This stuff really works. If I get busy and don't use it for a few days I notice a difference and not in a good way. When used consistently this serum it reduced my crows feet and other fine lines, keeps my skin perfectly moisturised, and just gives my skin a healthy glow. It also does not clog my pores. Use this at night so you get the full benefit of the retinol. I have very sensitive skin and allergies to fragrances. I have never had an issue with this serum.

After consistently using this serum for 4 weeks, I have seen a noticeable difference on my skin! My face is much clearer and smoother. Even the finish on my foundation is a nicer due to the smoother skin. Loving my new skin!

I've been using this serum for 4 weeks now, I have to say, it's been a gentle introduction to retinol. However, I do feel like it might need more time to work its magic, as I haven't seen any major improvements in my skin yet. I'll continue to use it and hope to see more positive results in the future.
