Easy to apply and non-oily primer
The primer applies easily and is not oily to use, even after a whole day's use.

Worth a try
I was skeptical, being a silicon based product I thought it would be thick, cakey and ball off as a primer. I was actually surprised as how smooth it went on, and stayed on - even when I used my brush to apply foundation it didn't ball off like I was sure it was going to do. Also found for deeper wrinkles you can make them look a little better by using as a filler. (just tap it in/on them!)

Awful product
Felt like you needed way too much of the product to spread around, didn’t like the feel of it. Makeup didn’t seem to blend as well with this primer

Feels smooth on the skin & works
It felt smooth and satin like which was nice on the skin. It did smooth out the areas where I applied foundation and didn’t dry out my skin. A little bit definitely went a long way

Thick, streaky not nice to use
I used the primer for 3 days and stopped using it. I found it thick on my skin, and made applying foundation difficult, steaky and actually showed open pores more than before. On its own the product felt okay.

Truely magic
Fantastic. Has a velvety feel, does a great job at blurring and filling pores to give a smooth looking base. Matte texture look. Felt hydrating too and not too sticky. Makeup sticks well to it. Great for all skin types

Perfect primer

Not quite right for my skin.
This primer did a good job insofar as helping my make up to stay on, but I don't think it was right for my skin type. I got very oily from it. I also found it hard to apply - the texture is quite thick and it was hard to spread over my skin without pulling. It did soak in quite well, and it didn't really have a fragrance which is always a bonus. I think this might be better for dryer skin types, or perhaps for my own skin type in colder weather rather than the humidity of summer. I will definitely try it again come winter.

Primer with a smooth touch
I like the texture of this primer. Once you rub it between your fingers before applying, it becomes smooth and light and is very easy to apply.

Great finish but messy application.
Loved the finish but the application was a bit more difficult than my current primer. The primer was quite thick which really hid pores and created a nice base but the product was thick and required you to scoop it out and rub it between your fingers before application which was messy and wasted a lot of product.

Pleasantly surprised
Really liked using the L'Oreal Paris Base Magique Primer. It actually treated my skin like magic and smoothed it out hiding a few wrinkles and pores. It has a nice texture to it and goes on the skin easily. You only need a small amount to transform your skin. Definitely would purchase this again if the price was right

Silky luxury
Loreal primer is a luscious, silky feeling product, it had an interesting structure and breaks up on ypur fingers but rubs into your skin in an invisable layer, i didn't like the way it exaggerated my deep frown lines on my forehead but everywhere else it gave great line coverage, I found it easier to wait a couple of minutes after using the primer before i applied my concealer and foundation for a smoother look

No need for makeup.
After trying for a week. I was very, very happy, my whole face felt and looked like, I had spent heaps on high end primer to fill in my pores and smooth my fine lines. My crows feet where not as noticeable. The beautiful velvet texture was amazing feeling,when I rub between my fingers to help with spreading. On my pores and on my fine lines. I didn't even worry about make - up as. I was more than happy with the transformation of my skin as a result of the base Magique.
