Child’s Play
It was really fun to build as there were many stages. My daughter liked that there was a mini chocolate bar and croissant and coffee machine. The overall architecture was appealing to both my daughter 12 years and myself 42years

Lots to see and do
Pieces are helpfully divided into bags by order of use. The instruction book was easy to follow for young people. The build took several hours but was rewarding as you finish each section. Easy to personalise by shifting pieces around. Lots of tiny details to discover each time you play. Lots of stories and role playing you can do. Is it a house, a school, a shop? Was age appropriate for knowing about school, recognising and understanding what all the little things are and how you can use them. The App is helpful as a backup if you lost the book but the point of Lego is to move away from digital entertainment so wouldn’t use it.

Great girls lego set
I highly enjoyed helping miss 7 make this lego. Its so great to have a girl lego since its more of a boy genre toy. The instructions were super easy to follow and she loved the bright colours and all the cute little figures.

Hours of fun
My ten year old daughter was stoked to get this Lego set. She opened it up and then completed the entire build herself (in the past I've had to help) across a couple of very quiet hours. Once complete she marvelled at the detail of the build (especially the pencil and paintbrush on the exterior, and the three levels!) and then enjoyed several more hours playing with the various characters. This is an excellent set that we both heartily recommend for all children (not just girls!).

So much fun for the family
Thank god for the instruction manual. As adults we had to follow that step by step. Easy that they were separated into individual bags to assemble. Now if we were to pull it apart it would take so much longer to put together I am not sure if we could. Loved it though.

Lego Friends
My 9 year old spent hours on making the Art Studio. She used the app instead of the book as it was easier for her to understand and follow. I found that she needed to to use her problem solving skills, and her emotions in check to be able to complete the set. I also found it kept her intrigued and motivated.

Hours of fun and imagination play
I have a 11yr old son and 6yr old daughter who were very excited to try the Lego Friends Emma’s art school. The 6yr old enjoyed helping make it but would not be able to do it on her own, which is fair enough it is 8+. However my 11yr old son who normally follows lego instructions very well also had a bit of trouble with this one too and needed mum and dad to help, so i think its build level is 10+ years old. From start to finish, this took us 3 hours to build, so you need to have patience. Once complete my daughter absolutely loved it, played with it for hours non stop that afternoon and continued to play with it on and off for a week after school. It is a great little set with the different levels of play and they can let their imagination ran wild. It is a bit cramped, it would have been nice if it was a bit bigger, as she always knocked thing off as there isnt a lot of room but other than that it awesome and i would highly recommend it. Since it took so long to build its staying up.

Ideal rainy school holiday indoor play
It was the ideal LEGO set to for both of my children aged 8 and 11 years. They loved the intricacy and detail of the art school set. It was an activity they could work on together. The instructions were easy enough to follow for both kids. My 8-year-old girl especially found it enjoyable to play with once it was complete, with her own role play. I think she was the right age to be able to construct the small pieces as well with little assistance. They enjoyed figuring out the purposes of the art school spaces and playing with all of the tiny features. Great use of colour and design, it was a hit with my kids and the ideal wet weather indoor activity over the school holidays.

My children got over it quickly
The 1st 2 days, my children were excited & spent a few hours trying to put it together. They used the instructions to guide them through. I loved the pieces being separated in several bags, each covering 1 area. This was very beneficial as it was easy to find the pieces needed, you knew what you needed to work with for that particular step and it also prevented a big mess from happening & missing pieces. I highly suggest not giving the entire box to the children so that they don't open all the packs together. Unfortunately my 3 year old reached for the box and opened a few packs so we had pieces all mixed up and misplaced. In general, the instructions were pretty easy to follow. My 8y/o did find the instructions a bit hard to understand, however, my 9y/o was able to understand the instructions without my help. One thing I would like to mention is that my kids did struggle to put a few pieces together and an adult is required to help them as mine were unable to work through this alone.
