LEGO® Friends Beach Amusement Park 41737

This was a very cool set that kept my daughter busy for hours and hours! It’s very clever how all the parts fit together and create a scene that actually moves together - this part made building a bit complicated but determination in the end meant she got there!

Upon opening the Lego box, I was a little apprehensive due to how many bags of Lego we would need to build and the thickness of the instruction book! But the bags were labelled with numbers making the process easier, we used the book that came with the set to build the set but you can also use the Lego app that is available to download to help with the build. My children did need some adult help with some pieces of the build. But overall it was a simple process.

Wow,just wow! Lego you’ve done it again! Just when you think how on earth could Lego get more creative boom…..they do! I am still amazed by the moving parts especially the little surfer dude riding a wave. Now not only do kids have the opportunity to build something really cool but the moving parts enhance their experience with Lego. Their interaction and interest in this product goes above and beyond any Lego product I had growing up and have more than one moving part means more than one child can play together simultaneously. We were all very impressed and so lucky to be one of the first to try out this fantastic product

This Lego set was different to others sets I have completed in the past. It didn't have your usual Lego shapes which made it more challenging and fun to put together. My family and I enjoyed putting this set together

Our family love this lego set!! The instructions were very easy to follow and the kids were able to put most of the set together without help. There were a few of the moving pieces Mum and Dad helped with to make sure everything was working. Our 3 kids worked well as a team to make this set and it was lovely to watch them help and support each other and take turns. We worked on the set for 1-2 hours each night and it took about a week to complete. The kids were so proud of the final piece and loved seeing the surfboard move!

My daughter and husband were rather excited when they heard we were home testing this product. They both spent ages going through the instructions before commencing the build. This was a fun build from Lego Friends. The Technic part was a little harder for my Miss 7 but with dads help all came together. Amazing attention to detail with wonderful quality (as you would expect from Lego).Building skills are put to the test but with the excellent easy instructions all is good.

I was very impressed with the Lego set. It included great step by step instructions. The layout of the book was simple and straight forward. Broken down into packets and steps - without the packets it would have been very over whelming. I enjoyed the Lego set myself and had to hold back from doing it. Great way to watch your child’s amazement when they build it themselves. This set was intricate and incredible the way you set it all up and connected the whole set together.

I received this for my 10 year old and 6 year old girls. They couldn’t wait to open it up and start. My 6 year old was able to help a bit but it was a bit too advanced for her. My 10 year old absolutely loved building this. It was very technical but she did it with ease. They loved how each part interconnected and moved. My 10 year old said it was the best Lego set she ever seen. Me and my husband were also amazed at how everything went together and worked. I think my husband was jealous that he didn’t get to build it. 10/10

We found the Lego friends beach amusement park a bit of a challenge to make. As my six-year-old daughters first time doing the smaller Lego. The instructions where great but she struggled to hold the attention span. However with my help and me doing some sessions we finished it in a few hours. Now the kids are having a great time rotating the scene and watching it go round. There is lots of laughter coming from the kitchen as i write this review.

Upon receival of the Lego, it was quite impressive how big the set it. After having a closer look, there's no indication of the no. of pieces in this set. I wonder if it's because it is made as an interactive playset so there's no "fixed set" of pieces. However, because of this, it was quite overwhelming opening up the packaging to see so many packs and pieces to this amusement park set. I trialled this lego with my 6 year old niece, who is on the lower age range of the trial age group. In the beginning, she is very excited to built the set. However, because each pack or instruction is in stages, she grow curious of what it actually builds. This was a good thing in the beginning. However, some of the smaller pieces are quite finite (i.e. the cross fittings for spindles etc) hence was quite challenging for my niece's little finger to put together. This set definitely requires patience with my little one. Still enjoyable but challenging.

First of all a big thank you home tester for choosing us and letting us trial the big Lego. My daughter is so happy to join in fun and build up the Lego. We really enjoyed building it together and have mum daughter time together

This was a great activity to spend time with my daughter. She was very excited to build it and then play with it including spontaneous play in the middle of building it after completing various pieces. She was able to build it with only a little help from myself when it came to the geared parts and it was great to watch her work things out for herself. My daughter found the theme of a beach amusement park exciting and loves that it has interconnected moving parts. This appears to be a great way to introduce technical lego to younger children. Finally coming with the 4 different characters allows this playset to be used on its own for how’s of fun.

This lego set provided hours of fun for my two daughters to put together. The instruction booklet was very easy for them to follow. The play set itself it very colourful, kept them interested and the three sections of movement at once makes it very playful and fun for children.

It was a fun set to build, but definitely a 12+ age group. Instructions were well laid out and easy to follow. Bronte needed a lot of support and assistance throughout especially with the working parts.

My kids were absolutely thrilled to receive such an amazing piece of Lego. They could not believe how big it was. Definitely going to take us some time to build but what a fun activity to do With the family
