Great scent and helps prevent irritation
Has a fresh, pleasant scent when you first open it. I found that it really helps with prevention of shaving rash and a follow up application really leaves you feeling fresh and smooth. Wil definitely look to purchase when this one runs out!

A Soothing and refreshing Shave.
The Gillette Shaving Balm was and is very soothing and nice to use. I still have quite an amount left even though I have used it for over a month every time I shave my face. My skin feels refreshed and smooth afterwards. I love the aroma of the balm. I will purchase it in the future in alternation with my other aftershave.

Not for sensitive skin
I have genuinely sensitive skin and this product is not soothing. It has a heavy fragrance and is not kind to freshly shaved sensitive skin. I would not recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin. It needs to be fragrance free if it is being marketed in this way.

Smooth and cooling After Shave Balm
The Gillette Skin Soothing After Shave Balm was absolutely fantastic. It was a smooth balm that applied to the face quite easily, and provided a cool soothing feeling to your sensitive skin after a shave. It lasted quite a while and smelt quite good too. Overall this product is quite nice for people with sensitive skin, and provides a nice cooling feeling after a shave.

I've used Gillette Skin Soothing After Shave Balm in the past, this one I tested was great and easy to apply and quick acting, i'd never shave and not use the balm again.
