I was wonderfully impressed by the GHD duet style! I was able to achieve sleek and styled hair in just under 15minutes. Being able to straighten my hair from wet is incredibly convenient! I also found that my hair was left with more body than just using a hair straightener. My hair felt soft and silky and not dried out at all! A quick hold of a button and I was able to add further sleekness to my hair with the Shine-shot mode! Everything about this styler is quick and easy luxury!

The GHD Duet is perfect for someone like me. I hate having to blow dry my hair and go back in with a straightener or curler. I end up planning ahead so that I have time for my hair to dry naturally and then only have to straighten. The duet dries my hair almost completely straight, and only needs a quick once over with the shine shot for a glossier finish. The result was better than I expected, my hair looked and felt healthy with no signs of heat damage at all. What I found most impressive was how long the results lasted. I didn’t wash my hair for three days after using it and it was still looking pretty good!

The combined drying and styling feature took longer than three times sometimes (as per the content I found on social media on how to use the product). It was was my stubborn curly baby hair at the nape of my neck. The shine shot is literally like a Botox injected in your har- it added shine and bounce to my straight hair. I just couldn’t stop touching my hair. It was softer, bouncy and shiny!! My hair health hasn’t deteriorated. If anything it looks glossier. I used to put heat protectant when blow drying or straightening hair - I have stopped doing that when I use this product. The result lasted on my hair for 2 nights and 3 days. That’s my usual anyway.

I love this product. It cut my time from dry to style by half. I used to use a hair dryer and then a straightener. This is a perfect 2 in 1 and super easy to use. Love it.

I quite liked the drying and straightening feature on the duet style. Even though I felt it took a bit longer than drying your hair normally, the hair did feel soft to the touch. The shine shot wasn’t really good. It took a while for it to switch onto the shine shot so I didn’t end up using that feature the whole time . I felt my hair was quite smooth and straight! I liked the appearance of my hair being straight without it feeling like it’s drying my hair. I would say it would last one day, not 48hrs.

Never thought I could achieve salon-silk level hair at home in a reasonably quick duration of time. Yes, a certain level of effort is still required and the tool can get quite heavy if you have a lot of hair. But compared to separately drying and straightening, this is a more efficient alternative which provides far better results. The Shine-shot mode is a game-changer and totally transforms my hair, giving it a smoothness that I've never experienced through regular straightening by myself. My hair has never looked shinier and this tame! You also don't need to worry at all about the tool burning your scalp – another advantage over conventional blowdrying. I haven't had any issues with my hair feeling fried, dry, or wiry, which I usually face with other drying methods. I definitely see myself consistently using the Duet Style after washing my hair from now on, as the results are worthy!

Since I got this latest gadget from GHD, I’ve been very excited to wash my hair. I find that it quieter than a hair dryer (perfect for night showers) and that it heats up very quickly. Initially, I did find it a tad heavy but got used to it after a few tries. Not only does it dry your hair, it has a shine shot function which essentially acts as a straightener. Love experimenting with the different styles I can create.

I was a skeptic at first because i have long hair and it is very thick.It usually takes me an hour and a half to style and dry my hair. With the Ghd duo styler, I dry and style my hair in about 20 min, it is an absolute time saver. My hair is soft and shiny and the style lasts for as long as you keep your hair dry. The shine mode is a game changer in one styler. I would definitely recommend it to all friends and family. Thank you GHD

This is a great 2 in 1 time saving tool. It dries and straightens at the same time. I loved the results it gave my hair and didn’t feel damaged at all. The shine shot makes your hair more sleek at the end. My hair was straighter than usual and felt great. My hair is quite thick and it took about 30 minutes to dry but no straightening required after which is great. The only negative is that it doesn’t really dry the roots of your hair because you can’t put it close enough. I would definitely recommend this product.

Love love love! This worked amazingly on my hair and went from wet to styled in 10-15 minutes! I loved the ease of use and found my hair to be glossier, smoother and like I had gotten a straight blow dry done. All of the volume of a professional blow dry with straight hair that I can never seem to get from a straightener. Only downside was the noise - it is a tad loud and can get quite hot so found trying to get it close to my roots tricky. Loved the shine shot mode - allowed me to style my layers and shape around my face with ease without changing products. Results lasted nearly 2 days most times and a shine shot top up helped keep it styled. I found it easier to use than other wet to dry stylers on the market and my hair was noticeably smoother and softer to the touch after. The tool has definitely changed my hair routine, I use less tools and as a busy mum saves me a lot of time!

I loved the convenience of using this styler on my wet hair as it saved a whole step of drying first. I felt my hair was healthier and shinier after using this ghd and I found I was more than happy to use this tool more often than I usually would use a hair tool due to the convenience and ease. This ghd did not burn my hair so is a much healthier hair styling solution. I’m in love!

Love love love! Absolutely loved everything about the GHD duet styler. It was super easy to use, fast, and made my hair feel incredibly soft, straight and shiny. Had numerous compliments on my hair after using the product, I had so many people assume I had a blow wave at a salon after using it. I found it beneficial to use this product when hair is 50% dry. So I would wash my hair, pop in the sleek talker oil and then wait about 30 mins before going in with the tool (it was just a lot quicker to use, and with the straightening tool I didn’t feel like need to use it on soaking wet hair to get my hair sleek looking) usually I would blow dry my hair and then go in with a hair straightener after to give my hair a blow waved look on the ends but this product did it all in one! What a time saver!!! The shine shot give your hair the straightened affect, I didn’t use that often because I like my hair looking big and bouncy which just using the drying setting achieved.

Pros: dries and straighten hair using the one tool; zero skills required from me, no need to juggle with hairdryer and brush. Hair is smooth and shiny after. Cons: takes a bit longer as I needed to run the ghd over 1 section several times before it’s fully dried; very pricey.

Super easy product to use to gain quality results. My hair is thick, long and frizzy. Mostly I style my hair up but GHD have allowed me to have the confidence to wear my hair out. Hair drying is really quick and I barely have to use the shine boost. Perfect to use everyday without damaging your hair, which I absolutely love. I have been using this product with the GHD oil once to twice a week, the results really last in my hair. Once you turn the styler on, there is a start up noise. You will then hear a beep which means you can start drying your hair. Once you have dried your hair all over, then turn on the shine boost. If you turn on the shine boost before drying all your hair, you will have to wait for the styler to cool down before the dry feature is able to be used again. I love the confidence I've gained since using this product and of course the compliments are a bonus.

With the current crazy humidity in Queensland it has been the perfect time to test out the GHD duet styler. I have 3B waist length thickkk hair. Blow drying then straightening usually takes me a good hour then I'm left a hot sweaty mess. This styler when used with the oil cuts that time in half. Initially feels strange to be drying hair with a straightener but 4-5 passes over each section the hair is dry and completely smoothed down. The temperature isn't as hot as a normal hair dryer but it gets the job done and you don't feel like you need a cold shower once its all dried. Going over it again with the shine-shot mode gets it dead pan straight and for someone that only washes my hair once or twice a week the straight frizz less strands last til my next wash without having to restraighten it everyday. These 2 products are a god send & my hairdryer is now sitting in the cupboard. Overall my hair & ends feel pretty healthy so I'd have to agree it doesn't cause any damage.
