Could Be Better
Texture was definitely an interesting experience, as someone who usually prefers the taste of gluten free food however I don't reckon this would be a food I would buy again. Tastes alright toasted but otherwise quite disappointing.

Okay!
Good substitution for regular crumpets. No other product like this is available in Aussie stores for gluten-free eaters. When toasted properly the texture is better, otherwise, it is a bit rubbery.

Dry with weird texture
I was very disappointed with these crumpets. They looked like crumpets in the packet but tasted nothing like real crumpets. They were dry and had a weird texture and taste even with a big dollop of butter on them. My hubbie didn't like them either. The recipe needs a lot of improvement

So so
These were a first for a gluten free product as my husband picked these up while shopping. The texture was ok wasn't crumbly like I've seen GF wraps do. Didn't have the large hole like a 'normal' crumpet does. Though I didn't like the aftertaste of them or the feeling in my stomach. expensive, like all GF products.

Okay flavour
I found these toasted well though took some time to do so. Bit rubbery and crumbly all at the same time. The flavour was okay but really just didn't cut it for flavour on their own. I like my crumpets with just butter and really wanted them to be great tasting. Disappointing.

Good for gluten
My daughter has gluten free diet and she tried this and was very impressed/ they are very good for gluten free crumpets. They toast well and are quite tasty. Would get again for her

Not for me
Disappointing. I loved crumpets but not this. Never again. These are dry and crumbly and don’t taste nice at all.

Very tasty, could be better
It has been almost 20 years since I’ve been able to eat a ‘normal’ crumpet so can’t say for sure that I remember exactly what they taste like. When I first tried the Genius gluten free crumpets I was definitely impressed. Like most GF things though it’s not quite hitting the bullseye, because they have to be extra toasted they don’t seem to soak up the butter or golden syrup as much as you’d hope. Still buy them and appreciate them none the less.

Best gluten free crumpets
Love these for Sunday brunch! Double toast them for extra crispy ness. I’m only giving 4 stars though as there are never enough stock at the shops.

Best GF Product On Market
In my opinion, Genius has the best GF products. Not only that, but has such a variety in what they offer and the quality is always good. These crumpets are great and not as 'leathery' textured as other crumpet brands, even the non-GF ones.

Not bad for gluten free
Not bad for gluten free but if you are looking for a gluten free alternative close to the real thing you will be disappointed.

Not great
I love a crumpets, but now that I have gluten free products I was not impressed. A crumpet needs to be soft so they soaks up the butter and honey or butter and vegemite. These are not that nice tasting and aren't soft.

Only gluten free crumpet on market
I live with a coeliac and they love these . This is the only store gluten free crumpet available to buy. I've only seen them at Coles. They toast really well and with some butter or Vegemite they are pretty good. Like most gf foods are they expensive , but worth it
