Fountain® Thick Mint Sauce 250mL

It was awesome I loved it and I won’t buy anything else

I was in the kitchen ready to start preparing dinner and my partner comes in and says “what are you doing? You can’t use Mint Sauce like that!” I was sceptical but it worked. We are outdoor cookers and cook most of our large roasts on the Webber BBQ. So when I read you could use it to marinate and baste I thought I’d give it a go. I cooked 2 small legs of lamb and used Fountain Thick Mint Sauce on one and nothing on the other one. Gave a bit of each to my partner to see if he could tell the difference. He chose the Fountain marinated and basted meat as having a lovely flavour and was more moist. We tried extra sauce over the meat and it was wonderful. My only criticism is it is branded as “Thick” but it wasn’t as thick as I thought it would be and it was a challenge to keep it on the meat without it running off. It also must contain sugars as they burnt slightly in the bbq. Overall we will definitely be using it for our lamb roasts in the future.

Nice and thick. Sticks to the hot meat well without melting. Great fresh taste as always with fountain sauces. The mint is not too overpowering.

I have never tried Fountain thick mint before but I was pleasantly surprised, it goes so well with potatoes and lamb roast. It’s not an overpowering taste. It is the perfect condiment to compliment a great roast dinner.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with this sauce. Had it with meat. Wasn’t the taste and consistency I thought I would have but was nice.

Very thick mint sauce but not as thick as jelly. Prefer this over the standard mint sauce. Will definitely buy again, especially for Christmas lunch.

I thought the Fountain Thick Mint Sauce is one of the best on the market. It is nice and thick and has a great mint flavour. I will always be buying this sauce for my fridge.

I have tested this product but didn't really enjoy the taste, I have checked the ingredient list and has a lot of sugar - too sweet. I wouldn't but it again.

I absolutely loved this Fountain Thick Mint Sauce especially with my air fried potatoes. It is so versatile and I enjoyed it even mixed in with my Mediterranean bake. I highly recommend this sauce especially if you want a quick and easy taste improver for rice, pasta and vegetables.

I don't usually buy mint sauce, this one did surprise me as it was mintier than expected. I would prefer thicker sauce with more mint than mint flavouring. This was ok and went well with my roast lamb.

This product was hard to find, it was not with the other sauces having a section all of it's own. $3.50 at Woolworths. I served it with our roast lamb and couldn't really taste it so tried some on it's own, wow, very sweet and vinegary. Very different to home made mint sauce.

Such a great sauce. It had great flavour without being over powering like some other mint sauce can be. Bring a ticket consistency, it helped out to stay on the food for longer. Great product, and I'll definitely be using it from now on.

We love mint in general as a family however this one was not for us. The flavor was artificial in my opinion and it did not taste good or minty. I wish there was a sample before buying the full-size bottle.

Personally I loved it with a good roast lamb. A tad on the sweet side but good enough for my traditional taste buds!
