Perfect balance of flavour and spice
I absolutely adored this, I’m a big spice fan, chipotle in particular, and this is perfect! Its not too spicy for newbies but still enough to have incredible flavour! Its smokey, sweet, a little spicy, with loads of the bbq sauce flavour we all love. The sauce by itself feels a little grainy, but once put on or in other foods, you can’t tell at all. I prefer this over most other ones I’ve tried, because it has more heat and chipotle flavour then I’ve tried before. This would go incredibly on sausages, ribs, burgers, and loads more!

F. Whitlock & Sons Chipotle BBQ Sause
I used the sauce as a marinade for chicken wings. When baked in the oven they turn out really good. So so good if cooked on the BBQ as the sauce turns black. The ones cooked the oven were 10/10. I will be doing this again. Juicy and full of flavour.

1st BBQ Sauce I like!
I generally only use homemade BBQ sauces as commercial ones have an odd taste...Until now! I love Chipotle as a seasoning flavour so was pleased to take the opportunity to try the F. Whitlock & Sons Chipotle BBQ Sauce. It has that smoky, spicy flavour that I enjoy with homemade BBQ sauce and none of the odd flavour I don't. As a vegetarian I would recommend trying this with BBQ vegetarian options to give them a little zing! Anywhere that you would use BBQ sauce. I wonder how it would go with a little mayo as a dipping sauce. That will be my next taste experiment.

Heaven in a bottle
I should start saying I’ve never been much of a spicy food lover. We’ll I wasn’t. This sauce is absolutely amazing! While it is a bit spicier than I’m used to, the contrast of flavour is unbelievable. Smoky, sweet, tangy and Of course the chipotle is the king. Goes really well with pork and chicken, but the sky is the limit! Will definitely be a staple in my pantry from now on. Try it!

Delicious BBQ flavour
The flavour is strong and powerful! Only a small amount needed. Like the packaging and that it can also be used as a marinade. We used it in a burger which was devious and smoky.

Get ready for the bite
The consistency, colour and taste made this sauce a condiment for so many foods; not just meat. It was great with cheese, vegetables and hot chips. It added zip to casseroles, hamburgers and meatballs. It's spicy bite lifted whatever it was added into or spread on.

Delicious
This sauce was the perfect finish to our bangas, mash and cous cous meal. Being an avid fan of normal BBQ sauce, I was keen to try this product. The taste, textures and smell of this little bottle of deliciousness was perfect. A little on the expensive side for the size of the bottle, I would be keen to purchase again when on special. Even hubby got in on the taste test and was pleasantly surprised. Would definitely recommend.

Not Great
This BBQ sauce had a very strong flavour, and was quite spicy. It was ok for a BBQ sauce, however, I would definitely not buy it again or recommend it to anyone.

We all love these sauce it has good texture and a great taste but we prefer some spicy sauce when doing BBQ because when we eat with yoghurt it tase good and delicious but this is so good my kids love these because it's mild and very flavourful .

No a fan (sorry)
We used this as part of our “meat free Monday” lunch consisting of stir fried veg and brown rice. The combination of spice and smoke in this sauce was a bit much? Maybe it would have been better on something else? We both weren’t a fan unfortunately.

Really livens up a roast pork roll!
Really enjoyed this sauce. It has a nice consistency that holds together and doesn't run out of my pork roll, yet is also easy to get out of the bottle, with a pleasant hum of spice. The smoky chipotle flavour is delicious, it's not overly sweet like many BBQ sauces can be, and there's a nice vinegary astringency that freshens up the dish. Highly recommended.

Tasty
It had a great smell and texture and was definitely tasty but it was a little too ‘warm’ for me. I can’t handle any heat or spice and was hoping it would be tasty (which it was), but without too much tang.

This has some kick
I was super excited to try this and then had a taste and also got a kick in the face with spice lol I’m ok with spice but this is a bit to much for me. My husband and brother on the other hand really like it. It’s got a nice smoky taste and definitely tickles the tongue. I personally wouldn’t buy this again but my brother said he definitely would. If you like spice, this is the bbq sauce for you.
