Good moisturising product
Good for moisturising hair, does not ‘repair damage’ (no shampoo can do that), but it might strengthen hair to prevent further breakage.

Damaged hair repaired
The shampoo lathers well and leaves hair feeling clean without being squeaky. After rinsing it felt fresh, hydrated, and didn’t feel greasy or limp the next day. I will definitely keep using it as my hair looked and smelt great

Works well to restore damaged hair
This shampoo worked well for my damaged hair. I used it daily and It made my hair soft without being greasy. With continued use, I am sure my hair will benefit and become stronger and less damaged. The scent is nice and it lathers well. The pump bottle is handy and easy to use.

Not for fine hair
I will preface this by saying I normally use salon products for hair breakage and fall, intensive repair bed head for damage. I have very fine straight hair but a lot of it. The pros: I love the smell, it's lovely and fresh and was nice fresh from the shower and even still smelled nice when dry. I also love the large pump bottle making it easy to manage how much to use. Fine for my husband's hair which is thick. The cons: it did absolutely nothing for my thin hair - it looked drab and flat and felt oily fast after only a day or so. Since my hair is dead straight, my hair sort of clung to my head after use with no body. The use of this coincided with a stressful time at work and my hair fall increased over the time frame. I brushed my hair and the sink was covered in dropped strands. It's hard to pinpoint if this was just the stress or if the product was a contributing factor. I likely won't buy this again, it's just not the right stuff for my hair

Honest thoughts
It does it job of cleaning my hair but needs more time to try it and incorporating it into my routine to see if it does it job in repairing damaged hair.

Works for me
Trialled this on really thick, damaged hair. It was a slow, but noticeable change. Cleaned the hair and made it more manageable, less tangles and less damage.

Dove Shampoo Hair Repair
This was a great product. It smelt lovely and made my hair feel less oily-I felt like I could go longer between washes. My hair felt softer and I would recommend it. Only issue is the lather is not as bubbly as I'm used to

Perfect solution for damaged hair
This shampoo really has helped to repair the damaged hair that I had. My hair was constantly knotting, particularly the hair closest to my neck. After trying Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo my hair no longer kept on knotting up. It did take few days in to notice but my hair felt and looked healthier. I was no longer having to brush out knots and cause further damage to my hair. I would recommend though that you use the shampoo and the conditioner together. I really loved this product and would recommended you try this if you have damaged hair.

Repair shampoo
This shampoo cleaned my hair well. Testing over a week, I would say it’s a bit hard to tell how much it really repaired my hair, I would think it would need to be used for a good few weeks at least. But it cleaned well, smelled nice, lathered up well and my hair looked nice afterwards. I do get a very itchy scalp between washes and generally use certain shampoos that combat that. I was interested to see how my scalp would go with this shampoo, and I did find I got an itchy scalp. I don’t think it means the shampoo isn’t good, but I just find I have to use shampoos more specifically designed to help with an itchy scalp or I definitely will get it. But overall I think the shampoo itself is good, I’d like longer to see though how well my hair does repair using it

Soft and shiny

My new favourite shampoo
My new favourite shampoo. The smell is clean and pleasant, and the pump pack is awesome. The whole family used it and we were pleasantly surprised with how nice our hair felt. Foams really well and easy to rinse out as well.

Beautiful, shiny hair!
After using Dove, I found my hair felt softer, looked shinier, smoother and thicker. The shampoo had a lovely smell that lingered on my hair. I even had people commenting on my hair smelling beautiful and looking so shiny!
