I’m not sure if it’s the climate as we are now in winter, but this butter stays hard as a rock even when left out of the fridge. It is absolutely not spreadable, any bread, bagel, roll or crumpets rip apart. I suppose if it is used in cooking it might be okay as the taste is quite nice, but I would buy it anytime soon.
Devondale salted butter is great it's not overly salty so you can still use it in baking just omit some of the added salt from recipes. It has a lovely texture. If you leave it for a bit it is super easy to spread on bread. It's what butter should taste like.
The butter is good for everyday use but I buy and use it for cake making. It's not too salty so I don't have to think about using unsalted butter and then adding salt to taste. Also tastes great spread on fresh bread alone.

So good!
I really Love the devondale salter butter. It’s tastes authentic and it’s great with fresh bread of smothered on hot toast. It holds well out of the fridge and I’ve never had it go bad but I use it in a few days.

Tastes delicious
I love the taste of the salted butter better than non salted as this one is thicker and yet can also spread. Maybe not straight of the fridge on fresh bread but leave out for a couple of minutes. Does not taste like or look like margarine.
Devondale Salted Butter is a premium-quality butter that adds rich flavor and creamy texture to a wide range of dishes. As someone who appreciates the delicious taste of butter and its versatility in cooking and baking, Devondale Salted Butter has become a staple in my kitchen.
One of the standout features of Devondale Salted Butter is its rich and creamy flavor. Made from high-quality Australian dairy, this butter has a smooth and velvety texture that melts beautifully over hot foods, such as toast, vegetables, or freshly baked bread. The addition of salt enhances the butter's flavor profile, adding a savory note that complements both sweet and savory dishes.
My favourite butter to use, especially for cooking/baking etc. The wider but flatter shape makes it easier to store in the fridge door. It tastes delicious, especially lathered on fresh warm bread or hot cross buns!
Have you ever tried to cut through a thick block of butter and the knife didn’t go straight? This one is thin enough that when you go to cut off 60grams, you get 60 as the knife makes it to the bottom of the block in a straight line!! The butter quality is good and stays fresh in the foil.

AUSTRALIAN MADE
I use this butter for all my baking. It’s creamy, beats well, and tastes delicious in all my cooking and spreading on sandwiches and crackers. Best of all it’s made in Australia.
This butter is good for it's price, I don't love it. But for every day it's good. It's super affordable thought. I think that it is a bit too salty. I would recommend this to people who are on a budget.
This is easily our household go-to for stick butter! It adds the perfect flavour for cooking and baking. You can tell it is great quality and well-worth the price.
