Mild mint
I tried the plaque release toothpaste twice a day over a week. I liked the packaging but would have preferred a flip lid for ease of access. It had a very mild taste and just after I brushed my teeth felt very clean & fresh however I didn’t feel like that lasted a long time like other toothpastes I have used. I probably wouldn’t buy this one

Toothpaste
This toothpaste packing looks nice and classy however I prefer a flip lid rather than a twist. The toothpaste tasted like perfume and was not to my liking nor my children.

Great mouth feel
Super refreshing after brushing. Not too abrasive when removing plaque build up. Each time after use teeth felt smooth. Stubborn built up plaque definitely lessened after two week. Gyms felt good.

Left a bad taste
Unfortunately I can't say that I love this toothpaste. It advertises a soft mint flavour but I had trouble finding the mint flavour. What I could taste was a mild soapy taste which was not pleasant. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I couldn't get past the taste. The packaging was lovely especially the gold trim on the lid.

Pleasant mint flavour foam toothpaste
On first use, I used the same amount of toothpaste as I normally would for my usual toothpastes (ie. Pea-sized blob), and that was a mistake! This toothpaste foams up a lot when brushing which I didn't expect, so I was left with a mouth full of foam. Subsequent uses I used about half that, and it was enough to get a good clean of my teeth. Subjectively it appears less effort is required to remove plaque when using this toothpaste. It's a small tube but given you don't need much for each use, you still get a lot of uses out of a tube.

Good but does it reduce plaque?
I received this shortly after I had been to the dentist for my annual clean, so the timing was good because I had a nice, fresh mouth and my teeth were nice and clean. Pros: I love the bottle and cute little top. I like that it is a smaller size if I needed to take it travelling. I didn't mind the taste but it is very different to the taste of my normal toothpaste. I liked the grit in the paste as it made me think it was cleaning - like the stuff that they use at the dentist's office. Cons: Does it REALLY clean plaque? I don't know but my teeth feel just as clean as they did after my recent cleaning, so it's stopping the plaque from coming back as quickly. The cost of this small tube is prohibitive to use long term (which is ironic, since I normally use high-flouride toothpaste that is not cheap). At $10 a tube, this wouldn't be a regular purchase for me.

Great toothpaste, unusual flavour.
I really like this toothpaste. It coats my teeth well and leaves them feeling clean and brushed well. I feel like it’s effective and does what it’s supposed to do and I feel confident using it. I do find the taste to be a little peculiar though - it’s not just a mint flavour, but a mint flavour with almost a perfume touch to it. Kind of tastes like medicine, but only faintly. But not enough to turn me off it. If you don’t particularly mind the flavour, then it’s a great toothpaste to use.

It's like a bubble bath for your mouth
Upon first impressions of this toothpaste I was very impressed, even the gold accents on the tube gave it a more refined and up market look then others out there . Upon trying it I am sold , right off the bat the flavour was fresh and not to strong, supper sudsy which in turn feels like it's doing a better job then most . But the ultimate test was the feel, it did what it said it would, my teeth felt super clean and did so all day till my next brush at night . Would highly recommend this toothpaste .

Tastes Like Soap
I could not complete this test for 7 days. The taste is revolting. The toothpaste has a pleasant smell, almost like a shampoo or soap but not minty. Thick consistency that doesn’t spill or fall off tooth brush. aesthetically pleasing color with glitter. When brushing, the formula is Very foamy and cleans well. But because of the overpowering Taste and fragrance, it feels like shampoo in my mouth. I could not continue using the product. The floral taste lingered for a long time.

Feels really fresh
I have used the same toothpaste for many years so it was a welcome change to try something new. Slightly different taste than I’m used to but I quite liked it and cleaned my teeth well. Will be great to see how my teeth look after long term use.

Colgate Toothpaste
Thankyou HomeTester for sending me the Colgate Total Plaque Release Gentle Fragrant Mint Toothpaste. I always purchase Colgate toothpaste for myself and the family. I usually get the MaxFresh with mini breath strips. I thought that it might have a different dispensing method because of the glam looking lid but as far as I can tell it’s a twist off. It’s a pale blue with tiny specks of different colours. It is still minty fresh even though it’s “gentle fragrant mint” but it does remind me a little of mouthwash. I’ve had no issues using this toothpaste and no irritations but would really need more time to trial and probably a dental checkup to be able to give my opinion on its plaque removal properties. I’d have no problems purchase this product if the price was comparable to my usual toothpaste.

Great toothpaste
This toothpaste is great, it's very effective at cleaning your teeth, and leaves them feeling squeaky clean. The flavour is a little unusual, perhaps almost a combination of mint and lime, so may not be to everyone's taste, but I really liked it.

Improved Gum Health
Since using this product, I have noticed that my gums appear a healthier pink. Additionally, I haven't had any plaque build up. I can't quite describe the taste of the toothpaste. It's a bit chemically and a bit minty. I think the taste could be improved, but overall a good product.

Teeth felt cleaner
This toothpaste was refreshing. I felt like it left my mouth, teeth and gums feeling fresh and clean. The mint flavour was not overpowering and had a pleasant taste to it. It left my breath smelling fresh. I would recommend this product and will definitely use it again.
