Powerful and effective
This electric toothbrush is powerful and gets the job done. Some people may not like how much vibration and strength it has though but I didn't mind it. Very effective teeth cleaning experience.

A Disappointing Experience
I approached this toothbrush with high hopes, especially given its convenient wireless, battery-operated design—perfect for travel. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm quickly faded. Unlike other electric toothbrushes, the head does not move at all; it simply vibrates, offering no real cleaning advantage. In fact, it felt like using a regular toothbrush but with an unnecessary buzz. The longer outer bristles also made it awkward and uncomfortable to use manually. Overall, this toothbrush fell short of expectations, and I wouldn’t purchase it again. A disappointing experience for what could have been a great concept

Easy to use
Easy to attach to the toothbrush and the bristles are gentle on my teeth and gums. I like that there is a tongue scrubber on the back of the head. Overall I think it's a great product and I would repurchase it.

Toothbrush
Not the worst, but not the best either. Teeth didn’t feel especially clean after using, certainly no more than a manual toothbrush. The 2 speeds were difficult to cycle to without accidentally turning it off. Very loud. Positives: the bristles were the right hardness and it was easy to manoeuvre around the mouth.

Never Better
I personally liked how the bristles of the refills are soft which I prefer as I have onset early gum disease, meaning that my gums can bleed easily if using the wrong toothbrush or refills.

The smaller compact size is brilliant it fits perfectly in my bathroom cabinet. Would rather the timed function was the first setting as I forget to press again and then get confused how long I have been brushing

The product looks and feels cheap, does the job just ok. It’s battery powered and it’s hard to remove the batteries. It looks like a normal toothbrush with some vibration and that’s it. It’s a cheap option for an electric toothbrush and might be good for travel as a disposable one.

Colgate Battery Operated Toothbrush
I received two refill heads in a pack as a replacement for the Colgate Total Active Prevention battery operated toothbrush that I home tested over the week. It is recommended on the packaging to replace your toothbrush head every three months, so for the purpose of this review, I swapped the toothbrush head with one of the refill heads to see ease of use. The instructions were clear and easy to understand how to replace the head. It was done swiftly with no issues. The refill heads are the same as the head on the brush which is great. Could not fault the refill heads and I like that they are like a traditional toothbrush.

Great toothbrush
The Colgate Total Active Prevention Toothbrush is light and compact, offers two modes, a 2-minute timer (helpful) and has high-density bristles for deep cleaning. It also includes a tongue cleaner and an anti-roll feature for easy use. Plus, it’s compatible with Colgate’s refillable heads. I’ve found it works very well and matches the description as advertised.
