The reason I put four stars is beacuse this fish is very pricey it is understandable that fish is pricey but beacuse of the price I probably won't buy it again I would rather catch my own, on the other hand the flavour was devine it had a nice light crispy batter not to much oil could of used a little less but very yummy the box only comes with 5 skinny prices but every mouthful is like magic.

I found the fish bites were a good size and had a good tempura coating. They were quick and easy to prepare in the oven. They became golden and crispy after about 10 to 15 minutes in the oven. They had an authentic crispy fish taste that is similar to what many fish and chips takeaway shops sell. I think they are tasty and easy to prepare snack or treat the whole family can enjoy.

These are a great bite size snack that are quick and easy to cook and the kids loved them! They did have a bit of a strong fishy odour when I opened them which wasn't that great, but they tasted nice with some tartae sauce and chicken salt. Would buy again if they go on special.

They have a very general flavour which is good as it is not too strong, yet they still taste like flathead. The crumbing is good also.

If I were ever craving fish and chips and wasn't near a good fish & chip shop, this product would satisfy my cravings. It's not the best battered fish because it's a frozen product but still tasty and all it needed was some lemon, salt and pepper.

I personally didn’t mind the birds eye deli flat head fish bites I cooked them in our air fryer and the batter cooked up beautifully fluffy and golden. Both of the kids took one bite and said they didn’t like the taste (they are big seafood eaters) my husband said the fish tasted too strong and couldn’t eat it. I ate it with tartare sauce and whilst I wasn’t a massive fan with tartare it was ok.

If you cant get to a fish and chip shop these Birds Eye Deli flat head fish bites are the next best thing and you don't need a deep dryer at home. Great texture and not an overpowering fishy taste, kids devoured them in no time, will be looking out for them when they are on special.
