Smooth and silky sauce
Surprising bare bones mushroom sauce with truffle is my new favourite. I finished my steak dish with this mushroom sauce and it looked very much like a restaurant quality dish. The taste was equally amazing. The truffle flavour was balanced. I know I will using bare bone mushroom sauce more often.

mushroom madness with a side of truffles
I enjoyed the mushroom flavour and consistency. Truffle isn't usually a flavour I would enjoy but this wasn't overpowering, which I appreciated.

Deliciously creamy

Makes your meal WOW
I love this mushroom sauce! It’s creamy, taste like actual mushroom with a lovely hint of truffle (not that processed, too much flour stuff) and it’s quick to take a normal meal from good to amazing!!! My family loves it with steak, chicken schnitzel and even pasta!!!

Looks better than it is
This was tasty, but very runny! I would prefer it to be more of a thicker sauce rather than thin liquid. By the time you put it in the microwave to heat up, you only got half packet of sauce. Probably wouldnt use again.

Delicious and easy mushroom sauce
The Bare Bones mushroom sauce was so easy to prepare, just tear open the pouch and heat up in the microwave for a delicious mushroom sauce to compliment a heart eye fillet steak or other meal. We found ourselves scraping up every last drop off the plate! Would get again for a steak or a schnitzel

Bare Bones Mushroom Sauce with truffle.
I had the chance to try this sauce with my T-bone steak for dinner. I added fresh mushrooms to Cook with the sauce to enhance a more mushroom flavour. I could really taste the broth flavour and truffle which was very nice, The only thing I prefer would be a more creamy base sauce for me but other than that it was great. The texture was thick and you can taste the flavours of the mushroom and truffle this sauce is probably better than some of the instant mushroom sauce packets I’ve cooked before because of the broth flavour.

Absolutely delicious!
This is hands down THE best mushroom sauce I’ve ever used. I used this sauce on a chicken schnitzel, which I normally too with a mushroom sauce. Will definitely be buying this again and again and again!

Bare bones mushroom sauce with truffles
A creamy mushroom sauce that the truffles made more appealing. Had a fresh taste with a smooth texture that complimented the steak and veggies. Not to salty and did not overpower the other taste of the dish. It was nicely balanced. Other mushroom sauces I’ve had in the past have been to salty and overpowering in taste.

Nice sauce, light mushroom flavour
Nice tasting sauce with a light mushroom flavour. I had it over lamb and felt it was a little thin to be used in this way. Next time I might use it to flavour a risotto or more like a stock substitute.

Steak sandwich improver
This sauce was super easy to make, just a minute in the microwave, and then added to a steak and put into a sandwich. This was probably the best tasting quick lunch I have had in a while. It wasn’t overpowering but has a lasting taste

Overcomplicated
The truffle brought an odd flavour to the sauce. Too many flavours and overcomplicated a mushroom sauce. This was taste tested using chicken thigh and bread- both individually and combo. Texture was smooth with chunks of mushroom, like a normal mushroom sauce.

Delicious!
Loved it, first gravy style pre made sauce that tastes homemade. I tend to make my own gravy or at least gravox powder with pan juices. This had a very nice natural taste and no nasties in the ingredients. I tried on some grilled chicken (sauce heated in microwave) Will definitely be trying the beef one I saw on the supermarket shelf.

Sauce sauce and more sauce
I was very impressed with the ingredients list, no added crap Loved how the pouch stood upright for easy microwaving and easy pouring I made grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini, the sauce had a perfect consistency with a very nice rich flavour. Mushroom and truffle isn’t a usual flavour sauce I would pick up but I will definitely be buying again
