Have a lot of bubble tea from multiple places and this definitely tastes like soap. Recipe needs to change completely. Has potential to pick up considering how popular bubble tea is right now, they just need to rework the entire recipe. The milk powder is way too potent and is majority of the flavour. Tried matcha, taro and milky tea all from this brand. They all suffer the same issue. Let people have the choice of what milk they want to use. I get their trying to make some sort’ve… take it to work and it has everything you need type deal but it’s honestly hindering the flavour a lot. It’s okay if it’s on a price reduction but will only marginally satisfy your craving.
I love bubble tea however they are tricky to make at home and expensive to buy. I love this product concept as it has the right amount of pearls, tea sachets and even includes paper straws! I am no longer left with excess pearls. You can make these in under 2 mins! The tea isn't quite as yummy as store bought bubble tea however it fills the craving without needing to leave the house.
The taste was horrible and nothing like taro. Would not buy again and think it's a waste of money.

I didn’t enjoy
I was so excited to try the taro bubble tea at home but I don't like the flavour or taste of this. The pearls were great but the milk tea was a little disappointing and didn’t enjoy it.
I've tried this one and milk tea from same brand and definitely Taro was tastier for me. The other one was bit too watery and had weird aftertaste. Taro taste is balanced better- it's definitely not as good as from bubble tea shop but for the price and convenience of having it anytime I want without going out - I'm very satisfied. Pearls taste good for me as well - I have no complaints.
I would say the product is not worth it. It is a bit too sweet for me and the taro flavour doesn't compare to the tea you buy for the stores. Also, the pearls have quite a weird taste and texture.
I was so excited to be able to make bubble tea at home. But unfortunately I was very disappointed. I have tried this brand in several flavours and I didn’t enjoy any. It is flavourless, watery, and gritty. Overall a waste of money

As far as making it at home, this is the best out there
Sometimes you dont want to leave your home and venture to a bubble tea shop, or pay silly Uber inflated prices. With some cold milk instead of water, these bubble teas are a great way to curb the cravings, and tasty!
not a fan when taro is in powder form and change back to liquid.

Enjoyed it
Unlike the other reviewers I actually enjoyed this product. It is sweetened with stevia which is great because I can't have other artifical sweeteners. I expected the super sweet taste from the stevia and didn't find the product powdery at all. My only complaint is that the pearls are slightly too big for the straw that is provided and they keep clogging it up making the drinking experience a little frustrating as I had to keep lifting the straw out to get the pearls out. The first box I had of these had the pearls in a long thin package and they seemed to heat up a little better too, I just add extra time now but it was through trial an error and eating chewy gritty pearls.
