My experience was somewhat different. Didn't remove stains at first wash as stated. I haven't tried it on other colors. Only whites. I tried 3 times before I could get satisfactory results. I had to handwash the clothes

The smell is amazing, in my front loader I had a small load as my first trial run. It made a lot of foam but quickly disappeared when the rinsing cycle started so it is all good. It removed all the fresh stains from the clothes I put in. One stain was older so it came of after the second cycle. Overall I am happy with the stain removal properties and a bonus it smells divine!

I felt the powder was more effective to use than the liquid Vanish. the product did not damage my clothes especially colours on new clothes. It (liquid)did not remove my grass stains on sons cricket uniform as easily - had to put through the wash a second time with the powder as a paste on the spot
