For your Elder Cats that need a Boost!
My 13-year-old cat, Xander, has always loved ORIJEN food, but I’ll admit he snubbed the Senior recipe at first! We started mixing it with his other food, and now he’s all in. I really like that it’s grain-free and packed with fresh, high-quality animal ingredients because I know he’s getting the nutrients he needs as he ages. Since he’s been on this food, I’ve noticed a real boost in his energy, and even his coat looks shinier. If you’ve got a senior kitty, this is a great choice—but maybe try mixing it if you have a picky eater like my cat.

I tried the ORIJEN Dry Senior Cat Food Grain Free Premium High Protein Fresh & Raw Animal Ingredients Guardian Senior with my senior cats and they liked it. I like that it is a premium food high in protein, which is so good for senior cats. I highly recommend it.

High quality food that my cats loved
I have three super hard to please kitties. They each will turn their nose up at food that cats normally love; so finding a dry kibble that they each will not only eat but like, is hard. With that said, they devoured this food by Orijen! I couldn’t believe it. It’s such a relief finding a kibble that all three of them love— and one that high quality. Since I started them on this food I’ve noticed improvements in their coats, energy level, and affection. They don’t shed half as much as they used to, which is a relief for my husband who has allergies. Their fur is shiny and soft. They honestly look and seem like brand new cats— it’s crazy how much things have improved just from changing their kibble.

Mischief And I Approve
Orijen Guardian Senior dry cat food is a grain free cat food for older kitties like mine. It contains 90% animal ingredients, including fresh or raw salmon, duck and chicken, giving my Mischief a high protein cat food that she can’t wait to eat. The nutrient rich kibble provides 8 health benefits, including immune support, heart, eye and joint health as well as promoting a healthy skin and coat. Although this cat food has a pretty strong aroma, I think that’s why Mischief loves it, and I’m glad this company makes the kibble in small enough pieces for her to digest. Since I’ve been feeding this to her over the past few weeks, I have noticed Mischief’s coat appears shiny and healthier and she seems a bit more active. Mainly I’m happy that she loves it, and will continue to purchase this food because it’s so much more beneficial to her than other commercial cat food.

Pleasant surprise

Good for senior felines
This was a good dry food for my senior cats. They really seemed to adapt to it easily and enjoyed it. Personally, I didn't care for the smell... rather fishy.

I have two senior cats. One didn’t take to it well, but the other loved it and doesn’t want the brand I usually buy for them anymore. I am thinking about switching for her. I would recommend this if your cat is not picky.

Cat loves it
I was sent a bag of Origen Guardian Senior Diet Cat food to use and evaluate. I have fed it to Leo mixed with his regular dry food for 2 weeks now and he loves it. I love that it is nutritious, designed for 7+ yr old cats and not loaded with junk. He loves the taste and now prefers it to his regular food !! I highly recommend it!

He loved!
My cat Corry is like any other cat on this planet or at least this is what I tell myself! He is a spoiled cat that gets the best of the best as far as ingredients are concerned. So I was a little concerned about whether he would like it or not. Well he loved and we use daily now! I would highly recommend trying even if you have then pickiest cat known to man like mine!

Dry cat food
My cat did seem to like the cat food. He was interested in it during the switch over period and after, but it made him vomit it up periodically. It did not seem to sit right on his stomach.

Excellent Cat Food!
I purchased the Orijen Guardian Senior 7+ Grain-Free Dry Cat Food for my 11 year old cat and I could not be more impressed with it. I love that 90% of the ingredients are animal ingredients and that the food is made with wild-caught salmon, duck and free-run chicken. The first 5 ingredients are raw which is also a huge health benefit. My cat is also loving this food and I’m noticing a positive difference in his energy, etc. already. I’m extremely happy with the quality of this food and would definitely recommend it to others!
