Simply doesn't work
This product works wonderfully if you want to see what it would be like to plug multiple devices into your laptop. Unfortunately if you actually want to use any of the devices that are plugged in you won't be able to. This product is solely for showing what it would look like to plug multiple devices in to your laptop. Even having 1 single device plugged into this product is far too much for it to handle. For example plugging my phone into it showed it was connected, then not, then connected, then not. I guess it's my fault for thinking any product in late-stage capitalism will function in anyway that it's supposed to. Also the fact this device, WHICH DOESN'T WORK, has a 4.5 star review tells me that every review on this site is more than likely created by bots or slaves in under-developed nation so we can continue killing the planet we live on in the pursuit of profits for the insanely wealthy. Never buy a product from onn as I guarantee it will not work the way it's supposed to.

Love this
This hub is designed for a lap top P/C. It should come with a an adaptor (female to female USB) so it can connect to a desk top P/C. All of the ports on the device worked fine. It does not get hot while running as I have heard some of these devices do. It does have kind of short cord that goes into your laptop which might be a problem for some folks who need a longer cord.

Perfect for laptops with one USB port
Was able to find this product at an amazing discounted price and it helps tremedously as student or when working on a laptop that only has one USB port available. The product is pretty durable, as I have dropped it a few times. Would recommend for those who love/need tech accessories.

Hub that works
I was looking for a way to prevent the external drives hooked to my computer from running all the time my computer is on. I use several large external drives for storage of videos and other huge files that I do not want to lose. Plus I always back up those files on a 2nd drive just in case the original drive fails (and lately it seems that more and more of the newest model external drives (3-5 TB capacity) that I buy last only a few months then work no more for whatever reason. I've had 3 relatively new ones fail w/in the last year.) And I simply do not trust the cloud storage options with what we face in this world of scary technology and its current hack-possible state. So I wanted to just turn the externals on when I needed to with the goal of protecting and lengthening their life expectancy. This usb hub allows you to turn on and off any plugged-in usb device that you want to access and it seems sturdy, well-designed, and is 3.0 capable. hope my problems of the past will be over

Super functional
Onn usb 4 port ac hub is so convenient to have. The four ports can be used for extra upload ports or charging as well. This makes my computer work go so much smoother and quicker with multiple uploads at once.

Onn. 4 USB Ports
I work with music and I find myself spending a lot of time dealing with the little things like waiting for uploads, and when I use the Onn usb and hook it up to the wall, everything uploads instantly. I put 8 hours of video on a usb in less than 30 minutes. Having something that speeds up the process is super helpful to me especially trying to keep up with my newborn. One thing that made me feel a little uneasy was that the product guide says ‘this equipment generates uses and radiate radio frequency energy’ and along the lines of ‘if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.

limited expandability
This Onn powered USB 3.0 hub has the nice ability to expand from 1 to 4 ports instantly. You don't have to use the powered option, unless your device needs it or if you want to trickle charge an item. Think: rgb mouse pad or something that needs just a little charge. I wish they had 1 type c for my needs or an sd card. The ports are very tight and stiff when plugging in my usb devices. The cable is nice quality. Items transfer quickly from usb flash drives and my wireless keyboard and mouse work just as before.

Great benefit
It was really convenient to have additional ports to plug items into and it’s the perfect length. I was able to charge my tablet, watch and controller all while still using my computer.

More plugs
Yes, more plugs... more wires. No one wants this...but this non intrusive device helps with all that. So my kids, and their friends can share one plug and use all their "necessary " devices. I used it in the car too..back seat drivers weren't happier.

Good hub
This a no nonsense hub that's very sleek and very easy to operate to use and look it. It's simple and efficient. It has a plug where u can plug it into a wall and power it for charging phones and other things too or just use as a hub. Very good.
