I have been putting this on my face every night after I wash and dry my face for going on 4 months now. I am in love! I have pretty sensitive skin so at first I started with every other night. Other creams and gels make my skin really dry or give me a rash. I am 42 years old and have been seeing a difference in my appearance as far as fine lines and less breakouts. Even got a few compliments about my skin from complete Stangers. This will now me a staple in my routine!
As a retinoid, adapalene speeds up cell turnover, helping to clear acne, reduce the appearance of pimples, and prevent future breakouts. it can reduce the appearance of pores and improve skin texture, which also helps prevent clogged pores and blackheads.
Adapalene gel from neutrogena is a great choice for treating acne and acne scars. This product is lightweight and non sticky. Huge tube is going to last long. Need to use this product consistently to see a visible improvement!! Loving it so far

Great substitution w/o a RX!
This product is amazing and so affordable! And the best part, no prescription needed. I use this product apply to my face at night a tiny amount and it's works wonders. So for those of you wanting to use this for aging, rosacea, acne.. you've got to get this and try it because there ain't nothing like it and for the money can't beat it.
This is such a great over-the-counter retinoid! I apply a thin layer over my face at bedtime, and it has helped my acne so much. I don't have sensitive skin, but if you do, you can start with using it just 2-3 nights per week. It can make you more sensitive to the sun, so remember your SPF in the morning!
Adapalene has been a game changer for my teen's skin. I like that it treats his acne breakouts and prevents future breakouts as well. This used to be by prescription only so the fact that it is now widely available is amazing. It is a small tube so you have to repurchase it quick, but i dont mind that.
This product works well for small spot breakouts and very superficial acne. Also, helps slightly with cystic acne but will not be able to do as much as other topical treatments for cystic acne.

Start SMALL
I've noticed a significant reduction in the frequency and severity of my breakouts since incorporating this gel into my regimen. It also helps to fade acne scars and hyperpigmentation, giving my skin a smoother and more even tone. However, it's important to note that adapalene can cause initial dryness and irritation, so I recommend starting with a small amount and gradually increasing frequency to allow your skin to adjust. Overall, I've been extremely impressed with the results and would highly recommend Neutrogena Adapalene Gel 0.1% to anyone struggling with acne-prone skin.
adapalene is one of the best (imo) ingredients for active breakouts and this product does the job! your acne will be a worry of the past with this gel

Very effective acne cream!
Neutrogena Adapalene Gel 0.1% Acne Cream is very effective on my most stubborn breakouts. Adapalene is a retinoid and can be over drying, especially to first time users so use with caution at the start of use. It can make your skin more sensitive so avoid exposure to direct sunlight, even in short spans and always wear SPF. It is most effective when you apply a tiny "dab" of this acne cream directly onto a pimple at NIGHT on clean skin. Always follow-up with a hydrating face moisturizer to avoid causing irritation. This product can cause irritation to sensitive skin. Very effective, but do not overuse, as this can lead to more severe breakouts. Always perform a small patch test on your arm or back of your hand with products containing adapalene or other retinoids, to be sure it will not be too irritating to your skin because everyone is different, but I love this product so 5 stars for me!

For acne prone skin
Adapalene was recommended to me by my dermatologist. It's help with constant breakouts but I would prefer my other Neutrogena acne products with salicylic acid which works better on my skin

Incredible Daily Acne Treatment
Neutrogena Adapalene Gel 0.1% acne treatment truly was a game changer for myself and my adolescent daughter. We both have struggled with acne for many years. We have tried numerous products with little to no results. This product is an ideal consistency. It's not runny and not overly dense. The application is a breeze and applies smoothly. It's an oil free and fragrance free gel. I applied the retinoid gel once daily. I have seen a significant difference already, as well as my adolescent daughter has on her skin. We will continue to include this product in our skincare routine. I highly recommend reading the instructions and what steps you should and shouldn't do after using this product. Great acne treatment!!
