Love the outcome!
The color came out perfectly and the hair color was easy to apply and didn’t have a strong smell with. Hair came out soft and exactly the color I wanted.

Nice natural color

Looks like professional salon job!
I'm really pleased with this product. I love that it has no ammonia, and it has done a great job of being multidimensional, since I had some lighter streaks before I dyed that I was hoping to preserve. The alpha hydroxy acid really helps as well. I don't have any grays, so I can't speak to the gray coverage, but since it's Clairol, I'm sure it's good. I had no application troubles. I left it on for the minimum amount because I didn't want too much of a fire engine effect, and I think it looks really natural as a result. I really appreciated the primer and treatment, so my hair wouldn't be super damaged afterward.

Beautiful color
I really like the color of my hair after doing this box hair dye it really covered my grey hairs in front . The color is very nice and close to my natural hair color. My hair is soft also after I used it .

No strong odor
Let me first state that I'm usually a little anxious when it comes to trying out a new hair color type. But this one is lovely. The smell wasn't so strong, and it actually left my hair feeling rather nice. The directions were also clear and easy to follow. I'm giving 4 stars however because I'm not too sure on how long the color will last for me.

Easy use
The Clairol Colorstrong at home kit is great. Very user friendly and easy to follow guide. Smell is not overpowering. I didn’t experience any irritation. Covered my roots well and my few grays. Definitely appreciate that there is no ammonia. Perfect choice for an at home kit.

A decent hair color
This is a pretty decent hair color. As someone with dark hair, I like using reds to add some extra color to my hair. Usually, though, I need to bleach first to even have it become noticeable, and this color was no different. It's very subtle and doesn't show up unless in very bright lighting, but I still like it. It was easy to apply, and there was no strong chemical smell. I would buy this again to use.

Not your mother's hair dye
No breathtaking smells when applying this. Never have I seen a pretreated included product for already colored treat hair to bond to the new color and that made me more excited to try. The conditioner like consistency made applying easy and also made it no dripping messes while you wait. This was amazing and left my hair feeling better than when I started.

Loved It!
I received the Clairol ColorStrong Hair Dye to use and leave an honest review. I assumed it'd be just like all the other at home hair dye kits promising all kinds of stuff to notice no difference. This was the first time I could actually feel and see a difference from application to final results. The color was amazing and it really did improve my dye damaged hair. The improvement has lasted and that's impressive. Will definitely be using this from now on.

Not the best..
I have brown hair so maybe that’s why but it didn’t really make much of a difference in color. I will say that I like how this formula has basically no smell and it didn’t stain my body/bathroom sink when I got residue on it. I just wish it was more pigmented cuz no one could even tell I dyed my hair. If you have brown hair just know it won’t make much of a difference.

Hair color without that scent!!
I really enjoyed using the Clairol color strong hair color. Firstly, it doesn't have that ammonia scent that you think will kill you - it's easy to apply and the color result is great. I would leave it on my roots a few minutes longer next time but I will definitely repurchase.
