Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen Spray
The older I get, the more important SPF and skin health becomes. I'm a native Southern Californian and live in San Diego. It's sunny here throughout the year which means 12 months of sunscreen, but higher SPFs can be harsh, especially on your face. The minerals used in Blue Lizard as opposed to a chemical base as is found in many sunscreens is a welcome change, but price point is a bit high, which keeps this product from rated 5/5 stars.

Australian Sunscreen spray protects!
I received a 5 oz can of BLUE LIZARD Australian Sunscreen 50+ SPORT new and improved. The tall metal can is attractive with a large blue-green lizard right up front, making it easy to find on the crowded sunscreen shelf at the stores. The white top can be twisted slightly to open the spray nozzle on the top of the can. I shook the ingredients and pushed the spray top releasing a few short bursts of the SPF onto my arm. The residue floats in a large cloud so I don't know if I want to breathe an unhealthy for my lungs cloud of particles. The UVA/UVB protection Broad Spectrum SPF puddled on my arm so I spread it over my skin. It is thinner than most SPF lotions and absorbs quickly with a small shine as it disappears on the skin. There is not much of a fragrance. It is water resistant for 80 minutes. It is made with earth-friendly propellants. The active ingredient is zinc oxide, but it does not leave a heavy white residue on the skin. I like that it has an expiration date on the bottom.

Dermatologist Recommended
About a month ago I was diagnosed with Rosacea. My dermatologist asked me if I used sunscreen on my face daily and I told him no. I also informed him even with sunscreen, I usually burn, no matter how high the SPF is rated. He recommended Blue Lizard sunscreen, stating it's expensive, but the best sunscreen he has ever used himself. I bought some and I allowed my step daughter to use it during marching band camp. She burns so easy and being outside in the hot sun for hours meant she had a sun burn coming regardless of the sunscreen she had put on. After the first day of usingthos sunscreen, she came home with no red, burnt skin. I was so impressed! Yes, this sunscreen is pricey, but it is worth the price for my stepdaughter and I not to burn.

Moisturizes and Protects
This Blue Lizard Sheer Lotion moisturizes and protects. I love that this lotion is SPF 50 Plus. It has plenty of zinc oxide and is thick when it comes out of the tube. It does, however, rub nicely into the skin leaving it soft, silky and protected. I have been a fan of this Blue Lizard for a long time, and this product does not disappoint.

This brand product didn't work
This is so greasy. The most terrible sunscreen I have ever used. I feel there are plenty of oil on my skin all the time. And my clothes close to my skin stained by it. If I apply it on your skin, there will be liquid oil on my skin all the time. I will never buy it again.

protects from heat!
you have to apply a small amount and rub it in very well otherwise it will leave a white cast. it does do the job. it also protects me from heat! i was burning hot and as soon as i applied it, i immediately cooled down. my favorite sunscreen. i wish they made it in a stick version

Iffy
I know that Blue Lizard is a great brand because it is very responsible to the environment. As a consumer however, it is still white casting even though labeled as sheer. It also is a bit thick and hard to apply.

Nice sunscreen

Feels like lotion
I received this product to try for free ,and it was awesome it didn’t make me feel all greasy and sticky. It doesn’t have that strong smell a lot of sunscreens have . It was really easy to blend in and absorbed really quickly I give this product 5 stars and absolutely recommend you giving it a try , I like it best out of all other sunscreens out there it will be my go to this summer for sure.

Feels Great
I really like this sunscreen. It blended into my skin well. There’s a faint white cast but it didn’t last long. I have medium/ light tan neutral skin tone. It has a faint smell but not typical sunscreen. So I use a separate one on my face.

great coverage and protection!
I love the Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen! It smells nice but not overwhelming. Easy application. Great coverage and protection while swimming. Reapplication is easy even on damp skin.

Great sunblock
I really liked this sunscreen. I work outside in Florida so I'm always in the sun. I didn't burn at all with this product and it was comfortable to wear. My face was smooth and didn't feel clumpy.
