Ok product
this product is good but not the best. when it comes to the inhaler, the steam floats around the entire room and gives a mint scent, but I'm not sure if it helps. at least I have to try it a few more times

Good product
The cool mist personal Humidifier is a good product, I used this over night as my room can feel quite dry and sometimes I wake up with a sore throat, my little one also had a bit of a cold so thought I would use this and see how it goes, my son slept better through the night and the air in the room did not feel dry like previously. I used the Humidifier with a menthol vapopad which I could hardly smell, I was expecting the most to have a stronger smell, maybe next time I will use two and see if that makes the smell stronger. Overall we had a better sleep with this device.

Good product with some drawbacks
Having tested this product for a while I can tell that it has helped with my sons congestion at night during a recent cold, so that is a big plus. The main drawbacks are the cleaning of it and also the fact that the top compartment just seems to place on top and doesn’t latch on. Not massively secure if it is accidentally knocked. The scent pads provided were also very soothing.

Relieves stuffy blocked nose
The Vicks Cool mist personal humidifier and Vapopads were great at relieving my children's blocked noses. It was placed in their bedroom over night as they struggled to get to sleep with a stuffy nose. I definitely noticed they had a better night's sleep because of it and there was no coughing throughout the night either! The Vapopads released the well known Vicks cooling scent but I don't think it lasted very long and to repurchase them, I find them expensive. I would prefer to use a menthol or eucalyptus essential oil within the humidifier but that is not recommended with this particular product. Also it does require regular, rigorous cleaning if used constantly, which I did. Full instructions on how to clean are enclosed in the instruction booklet so it's worth giving it a good read first to familiarise yourself with all the parts of the humidifier. All in all I would recommend!

Good for blocked sinuses but noisy
The machine is not too big. It's smaller than a face steamer and does not take much space on a bedside table. The instructions are clear and it's easy to get it working straight away. The little door for the Vicks tablet stands sideways instead of flat, which I didn't find very convenient. I prefer to insert it straight and horizontally, like a card in an ATM, than having to place it on its side in the door compartment. Mostly because you are supposed to touch it only very slightly with your hands and it can be fiddly. Once on, it surprised me that the steam is constant. I was expecting outbursts, like the bathroom sprays, coming up now and then. It boils very quickly and starts steaming within seconds. The vapour is visible and continuous. It can be a bit noisy for sleeping. We had to put it before going to bed instead. I rather have it at night, specially with the Vicks tablet, but we found it inconvenient. I was constantly worried about getting damp bedrooms too.

Fabulous product
Will definitely be using the Vicks humidifier when my children are full of cold. It was easy to set up, the vapo-pads made the room smell lovely & made breathing while congested much better

Great for little blocked noses
We used the Vicks Personal Cool Mist Ultrasonic Humidifier in my son's bedroom when he had a cold and also my husband's study during the day when he was suffering. Both provided relief from blocked noses and made breathing easier. It is a little bit noisy so I had to wait until my son was asleep to put it on but it helped him to sleep better and minimise the times he woke up. It's a bit faffy to set up and you can't easily move it around when it's on which is why I've given it 4 not 5 stars. I would recommend it though for when you have a cold and it does help reduce suffering.

Emits a good amount of vapour inspite of being a cold humidifier. Nice very quiet when u switch off the beep. It’s just that when kids pick up the humidifier the top comes off and water spills.
