Perfect for storing any leftover gravy!
I love this jug, sometimes I’ll make gravy in it and if there’s some left over i can just store it in the jug with the lid on and pop it in the fridge. No need to use any other good storage containers. Love the fact that the jug comes with a lid, makes life so much easier.

High quality jug with one flaw
The issue: This OXO 500ml measuring jug comes with a black silicone lid which enables you to store liquid hygienically and securely. However, when I received this jug, the lid was “glued” strongly to the inside of the jug, the glue acting as a hinge to opening and closing the lid. I was unsure whether it had been manufactured to be permanently attached here. However, I assume otherwise as it’s too difficult to wash the inside of the jug or stir contents with this attached. I forcibly tore the lid away from the glass and as a result it left black silicone residue on the inside of the jar next to the handle (I’ve attached photos). This is frustrating as I now need to find a non-abrasive way to remove this residue which is stuck on rock hard. Hot water and scrubbing doesn’t remove it and it now risks contaminating food. It looks messy as well. Positives: Putting the above issue aside, the rest of the measuring jug is a high-quality product which has been manufactured very well.

This is great!
I stumbled across this and it is the best purchase I've made in a while. The lid allows you to store the contents of the jug in the fridge and freezer which was what initially drew me to purchasing it; So it's great if you want to set something.

I love this
I don't know if it's just me or not but everytime I use a measuring jug to pour a stock into a dish it goes everywhere. Luckily I deicded to buy this and it does a great job at keeping the liquid where it's supposed to go when I pour it into a dish. I no longer have to clean up my kitchen after a spill. Very pleased with this.

Can be used in the Dishwasher and microwave. A handy size. Good for storing as it has a lid. Good quality and sturdy. The handle has a good comfortable grip. I would recommend

So handy
A jug with lid! When I saw this I had to have it, it’s so handy. I make bread so whilst the yeast is doing its thing I can have it covered. Also like to make fresh juice in the morning so I leave it in the jug and no need to over to foil or a plate now. The jug feels sturdy and expensive. Family members have asked about it

I have one of these it's well made and so easy to clean. The kids great and gives that bit of extra protection to stop stuff spilling all round the edges. Perfect for its job

Does what a jug does. Great all round use etc Well made item, resistance to tomato stains as well! Great vessel for any product Can’t go wrong with a jug Handles well in the microwave

Super handy
I borrowed one of these from my Mother, but I now think I’ll have to go and buy one. Very sturdy, the lid feature is so handy. It can be a jug, or a storage container. I have used it for soup a lot! Zero chances of spills and not crazy hot after microwaving.

This is all you need for any sauce or condiments you need to mix together. From young this has always been the gravy jug, I love the solidness of it be careful as it heavy glass but always washes up perfect with no smell or reside
