Softer hair
I recently tried the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss 5-Minute Lamination treatment, and while it did make my hair noticeably softer and shinier, I didn't see much improvement in reducing frizziness. The application process was straightforward and quick, which I appreciated. My hair felt smoother to the touch and had a nice gloss to it after using the treatment. However, the frizz remained an issue, especially in humid conditions. Perhaps using it in combination with the glycolic shampoo might make a difference in managing frizz. Overall, it's a good product for adding shine and softness, but if you're looking for something to tackle frizz, this might not be the best option on its own.

Glycolic Gloss
I was hoping for better results with this gloss treatment. Granted I haven’t tried the other products within this line, however when I used this lamination product I feel like it didn’t do enough. My hair is softer when I use it but that “glossy” look just doesn’t come through. Interested to know if left longer than the 5 minutes if that will make a difference. Don’t know if I will repurchase.

Maybe not the best for fine hair
I had high hopes for this as a friend recommended it, it definitely gave a lovely shine to my hair first time but after using it a few times I found it was really weighing down my fine hair and making it oily quickly.. it sort of left a coating on it which made it appear stringy. I think this would be a great product for those with thicker hair like my friend has, as she hasn’t experienced the same issues. It definitely makes hair appear glossier as the description states.

Not sure.
I had high hopes for the L'Oréal Paris Elvive Glycolic Gloss 5-Minute Lamination treatment, especially with its promises of a high-gloss finish and long-lasting smoothness. After following the instructions carefully and applying the treatment as directed, I did notice that my hair felt incredibly silky and soft, which was a definite plus! The smoothness is very apparent, and it makes hair easier to style, adding a touch of luxury to the texture. However, the glossy effect doesn’t quite show up unless you go the extra step with styling tools. I found that I had to use a blow dryer and straighter to truly bring out the gloss. Without heat styling, the shine wasn’t as noticeable, and the look didn’t quite match the “laminated” effect I expected. My biggest issue was that after about three washes, I noticed my hair colour turning slightly orange, which was disappointing. This colour shift was unexpected, especially since I carefully followed the instructions closely.

Shiny smooth hair
I enjoyed using this hair lamination gloss and found it super simple to use! The smell is quite strong and lasts a while, and smells quite artificial which may be irritating to people with sensitive noses. It definitely helps tame frizz and lasts a few washes.

Great for people with 1A hair type
This did wonders for my 1a hair, I totally recommend this if you are looking for a product that will give your hair shine and smoothness, however i do recommend you leave it in for a longer amount of time (I did about 20 mins) also make sure to shampoo and condition (optional) as normal before you use it. xx

Shiny and soft
Left my hair feeling shiny and smooth - even with a lot of prior bleach damage. Was super easy to apply and smelt nice so didn't mind leaving it in to process. Noticeably shinier the next day and controlled the flyaways and visible breakage. Will definitely become part of my routine or as a top up before a special event!

Budget friendly gloss
This is a great gloss option if you’re on a budget. I only apply it once a week and it leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny. I wouldn’t recommend using it more than once or week because it might make your hair oily.

smells nice and feels smooth
I noticed a significant reduction in frizz, and my hair feels much healthier overall. A huge plus is that it is paraben-free (unlike most hair masks) and takes only 5 minutes. The strawberry fragrance is pleasant and you can smell it even after drying your hair. I think this is my favourite of all the glycolic gloss products - if you were to choose just 1, I highly recommend this one.

Bliss
I used the 5 minute lamination serum in conjunction with the rest of the gloss range, overall I am really impressed with the texture of my hair after washing. The scent is not overpowering and my hair definitely feels healthier. I also really enjoyed those extra few minutes in the shower whilst the product did its job!
